Frequently Asked Questions
We believe clear communication builds trust. Here are answers to the most common questions about Momentum — so you know exactly what to expect before you get started.
-
How do I start training at Momentum?Start by booking a consultation. We'll meet in person, walk through your goals, assess your movement, and build a plan that fits your life — whether that's adult training, athlete development, or something in between.
-
What happens during the initial consultation? You'll sit down with a coach, discuss your goals, injuries, history, and schedule needs. Then you'll go through a simple movement screen to help us create the right starting point. Afterwards, we'll discuss options and lay out a plan going forward to start your journey toward better health.
-
What makes Momentum different from a regular gym?At Momentum, you get real coaching, individualized programming, flexible scheduling, and a system built around real life — not random workouts or rigid schedules. It's everything a commercial gym isn't — and everything a busy professional actually needs.
-
What's included in a Momentum membership?Your membership includes individualized coaching, personalized training plans, access to our flexible session schedule, and full support around strength, conditioning, and progress tracking. Everything you need — nothing you don't.
-
Is there a commitment or long-term contract? No long-term contracts. Memberships are billed every 4 weeks, and you're free to adjust or cancel with appropriate notice. We believe in earning your trust every month — not locking you into something.
-
Can I pause my membership if I travel or get injured?Yes. Life happens. If you're traveling, sick, or injured, you can request to pause your membership temporarily — no problem. We’ll work with you to keep your momentum going the right way.
-
How flexible is your scheduling?Very. You book your sessions through our app and choose time blocks that work for you — morning, midday, or evening. You're not locked into the same days and times every week unless you want to be.
-
How often can I train per week? This is determined in our consultations. It depends on how often you can commit to consistently and what your goals are. We'll help you find the right balance from where you are and where you want to go.
-
Do you have a members-only app for bookings?Yes. All scheduling happens through our private app — making it easy to book, cancel, and adjust as needed.
-
What type of training will I do?You'll follow a personalized strength and conditioning program built for your goals, your movement profile, and your lifestyle. Training includes strength work, mobility, conditioning, and supportive habits like recovery work.
-
Is this like personal training? It’s better. You’ll get individual coaching, personalized programs, and guidance — but with the flexibility of a membership model. Think of it as the quality of personal training with more freedom and better value for your money.
-
What if I have an injury or physical limitation? That's exactly why we profile and individualize. If you're dealing with injuries or limitations, we adjust your training accordingly — so you can keep making progress without making things worse. We also have a rehabilitation & manual therapy specialist on staff that can be booked as needed for any physical issue.
-
Can I attend the gym outside of sessions unsupervised? No. Momentum is a private coaching facility. All training happens under the guidance of a coach to ensure safety, quality, and consistency.
